This recently launched family space, which also owns and operates the Tree House Resort and Taruveda Bistro, pays homage to the late grandfather of the Peelwa family, Lt. Col. Gulab Singh who served in WWII for the infantry. of Jaipur and the Sawai Man Guards. The expansive property is home to many memorabilia, original black and white photographs, and other memorabilia reminiscent of that time. The food is a mix of Indian and European influences with dishes like Chennai chicken biryani, mutton gilafi kebab, beetroot tartare and shrimp rolls, which you can accompany with cocktails and classic desserts.

London-trained Le Cordon Bleu chef Namrata Pai bakes decadent cakes, pastries and savory bites in her new storefront in Assagao. After honing her skills as a pastry chef with The Table and Mag St. Kitchen in Mumbai, Pai now has a daily changing menu in her bakery with signatures that include pastéis de nata or Portuguese custard tarts, biscuits au Dark chocolate sea salt, baklava, a textured chocolate cake and savory babkas among other pastries that are all focused on the ingredients.
