Dozens of Palm Beach County restaurants are doing the same as part of Flavor Palm Beach, a program area hotel industry veteran Briana Beaty, founded in 2007 to benefit diners and restaurants during the month of September traditionally slow. As diners embrace Flavor’s bargains over peak season prices, restaurants fill seats and often bring in new customers.
“Flavor has really developed an audience; people are looking forward to it, ”said Kent Thurston, co-owner / executive chef of Cucina.
Eric Lemonides, co-owner of Almond, said September could be slow, “but people are coming out. Some people find out about us because of Flavor and think, “Let’s try this place. “
