Meet the Iron Chefs in the Netflix reboot


Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend is Netflix’s new reboot of the classic Food Network show, which will see some of America’s top chefs go head-to-head in Kitchen Stadium.

Alton Brown will return from Iron Chef America to host the Netflix show, while Mark Dacascos returns as president. At his side, a cast of five familiar faces from the kitchen who will be the Iron Chefs of the season.

The Netflix reboot will see these Iron Chefs face off against a group of Challenger Chefs, who will compete against the greats of the kitchen for the title of Iron Legend.

Australian chef Curtis Stone iron boss journey began in 2010 when he lost to Bobby Flay on an episode of Iron Chef America. Food lovers may know him from his other TV credits, including Take Home Chef, Top Chef Masters, My Kitchen Rules and crime scene kitchen. Reality TV viewers, meanwhile, may recognize it from The biggest loser and The Celebrity Apprentice.

In addition to her television work, Stone also owns two restaurants: Maude in Beverly Hills and Gwen in Hollywood.

Dominique Crenn

French chef Dominique Crenn took part in season 2 of Netflix’s other cooking show Chef’s table. Food lovers may also know that she is the only woman in the United States to have three Michelin stars. This rating was given to his San Francisco restaurant Atelier Crenn, while his wine bar Bar Crenn also has one star.

Crenn may also be known for NCIS obsessed as the real-life fiancée of actor Maria Bello, who played Jack Sloane on the TV series.

Marcus Samuelson

Born in Ethiopia and raised in Sweden, Marcus Samuelsson served as a judge at both Iron Chef United States and Iron Chef Americaas well as a regular Chopped guest judge. He also holds the unique distinction among iron boss judges to play himself in a Scooby-Doo movie, Scooby-Doo! and the Gourmet Ghost.

Its many restaurants include Marcus B&P, Ginny’s, Red Rooster and Swedish Supper Club. He was also the guest chef at President Barack Obama’s first state dinner.

Ming Tsai

American chef Tsai previously missed out on a spot as Iron Chef after finishing third The next iron boss in 2010, five years after appearing on Iron Chef America. His other television work includes Simply Ming and cooking under the fire on PBS, and a 2006 episode of arthur.

Tsai ran the Blue Ginger restaurant in Wellesley, Massachusetts, for nearly 20 years, and now runs Blue Dragon in Boston.

Gabriela Camara

Mexican Gabriela Cámarais is also a Netflix alum after appearing in the documentary The tale of two kitchens. named one of TimeAmong the most influential people of 2020, Cámara’s restaurants include Cala de San Francisco and Contramar de Mexico. She teaches the world how to cook Mexican cuisine on the Masterclass website and acts as a cultural advisor to Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
