Coming soon: Topiko’s is Bondi’s newest Greek restaurant and bar from the team behind the Dolphin Hotel

Growing hotel collective The Point Group is adding a spacious Greek restaurant and bar to its extensive catalog of Sydney venues which already includes the beloved Dolphin Hotel, multi-storey venue Shell House and soon-to-open Fort Denison winery its bar and restaurant doors. Topikos Dining Room and Bar will open on Campbell Parade from Thursday, April 14, offering traditional Greek spreads.

“We stay true to Greek cuisine, using traditional recipes, cooking techniques and flavours, combined with incredible Australian produce, we showcase our contemporary take on classic Greek cuisine,” said Joel Bickford, culinary director of the Point Group. “At the heart of the menu are the essentials; an olive oil program and homemade pitas, a simple foundation to build our menu.”

The menu takes full advantage of the restaurant‘s seasonal produce and the charcoal grill and wood-burning ovens you’ll find in the kitchen. Meze plates are a big part of a menu that’s designed to encourage shared meals, with other exciting additions including souvlaki, king prawn saganaki, sweet pepper feta filo pie and gyros prepared with this homemade pita.

As with all The Point Group sites, the drinks list is a main feature and not an afterthought. “We want to create the best quality wine and cocktail bar while embracing the bohemian spirit of Bondi,” says rrestaurateur Brett Robinson. Accompanying an exciting wine list, memorable cocktails like old-fashioned baklava and Topiko’s iced coffee.
