Paul Burgess has been named the new executive director of Fourth Plain Forward, effective January 5. Burgess has extensive experience in the international development sector, having recently founded a social enterprise specializing in pro bono capacity building programs for marginalized nonprofit organizations in the Global South. . Burgess is thrilled to join the Fourth Plain Forward team and continue the impressive development and growth that Vancouver’s international business district is experiencing. Burgess has lived in Vancouver since 2018 and is married to a local high school teacher. Burgess brings over 20 years of professional experience, working internationally for the past 15 years in the education sector and the international development sector.

PeaceHealth recently announced that Sarah Ness is its new Executive Vice President of People and Culture. An accomplished executive with more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare field, Ness has devoted most of her professional career to PeaceHealth. With a deep understanding of PeaceHealth’s mission, she has successfully served in several key leadership positions, including Chief of Staff, Vice President of Marketing and Consumer Analytics System, and Director of Strategic Communications and ‘commitment.

By providing oversight of human resources, patient experience, marketing and communications, and governance, Ness will foster greater connectivity between these critical functions as PeaceHealth strives to be a people-centric organization. person-centred and community-centred, providing greater value for people and health justice for communities. .
