CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN – Neighbors in Crown and Prospect Heights will have five options to sample New York Restaurant Week this summer.
Five restaurants in the two neighborhoods have been shortlisted for Summer Restaurant Week, which will officially kick off July 18 and run for a full 30 days to celebrate the event’s 30th anniversary. Reservations opened for the 623 participating places in the five boroughs last week.
The summer 2022 program will offer prix fixe lunches and dinners for $30, $45 or $60.
The program runs from July 18 to August 21, but restaurants can participate for one, two, three, four or all five weeks.

Neighbors may also find more options by heading to Flatbush, Bed-Stuy, or Park Slope.
A total of 59 Brooklyn restaurants are participating this year — a jump from years past when numbers were so low that the borough has started its own tradition to highlight Brooklyn’s best restaurants.
Manhattan still dominates the list with more than 500 restaurants offering deals.
Unlike the last two weeks of restoration, this will be the first since the coronavirus pandemic without a mask or capacity restriction.
“Masks and proof of vaccinations are no longer required for indoor dining,” the event site reads.
City officials are still recommending people wear high-quality masks in indoor public spaces to stop the spread of COVID-19.
